About the role..

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist with experience in disability, hospital, or aged care sectors. In this role, you'll work closely with the HR Manager and Operational Leadership Team, supporting a wide range of people and culture matters. You’ll lead projects, mentor others, and provide guidance on performance, development and industrial relations. Additionally, you'll manage workers' compensation and help implement the HR strategy across the business. Join our experienced and supportive HR team at a respected not-for-profit organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or policy violations
  • Handling employee inquiries, concerns and complaints
  • Administering the performance appraisal process and assist managers in setting performance goals and providing feedback to employees
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Maintaining accurate employee records
  • Generating reports and analysing HR metrics for management

About you..

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR generalist role, preferably within disability, hospital, or aged care sectors
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations and HR best practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Detail-orientated and highly organised with exceptional time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
