About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our growing Brisbane team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead service development, mentor junior clinicians, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to clients with a range of communication and swallowing needs. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time, we’ll work with you to create the perfect role.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Provide comprehensive speech pathology services to clients with diverse needs
  • Lead and mentor junior clinicians to foster professional development
  • Support the growth of our speech therapy service
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic client outcomes
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and conduct functional assessments
  • Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to service improvements

 

About you

  • SPA-registered Speech Pathologist with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with adults and/or paediatrics in a disability or rehabilitation setting
  • Experience with assessment and prescription of speech generating devices (highly desirable)
  • Passion for evidence-based, client-centered care
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and support junior clinicians
  • A proactive and innovative mindset – ready for what's next!
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred for community visits)
