About the role..
Exciting opportunity for a Clinical Dietitian to become a key member of the Royal Rehab Private Hospital (RRPH) multidisciplinary team (MDT), providing high quality nutrition and dietetic interventions to clients for a variety of conditions. The position is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition interventions within a client-focused and goal-centred framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dietetic intervention in the inpatient unit or outpatient settings within the Ryde campus, at the day program service or via telehealth consults.
- Provide high quality, timely dietetic services to clients in line with best practice.
- Assist relevant staff and carers in implementing nutrition care plans for clients.
- Comply with centre-wide service and dietetics specific policies/procedures, and the Royal Rehab vision and values.
- Work as part of the MDT within the RRPH Service and the Dietetics service at Royal Rehab.
About you..

Essential Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in dietetics with current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credentials.
- Demonstrated high standard of core clinical skills and dietetic competency with commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with flexibility to work across the facility (inpatient units and community) as required.
- Sound communication (verbal & written), and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise workload.
- Demonstrated digital literacy including use of electronic medical records.
- Experience and commitment to actively participate in research and/or quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience in providing nutritional management to patients with neurological and orthopaedic conditions.
- Current C unrestricted driver’s licence.
Desirable Criteria:
- Recent relevant experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
