About the role..
Exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to work on Saturdays independently with indirect supervision. You will be supervising and assisting clients in the Brain Injury Unit enabling them to continue with their therapy program as prescribed by physiotherapists.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting clients with individual therapy programs as per physiotherapists’ instructions
Documenting interventions
Completing handover document to physiotherapists
About you..
We are seeking self-motivated and friendly individuals with:
Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
Experience working with people with physical and cognitive impairments
Ability to work independently with remote supervision
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork
Excellent time management and self-organisational skills
Computer literacy
