About the role..

Join our Day Rehabilitation team as a Physiotherapist and make a meaningful impact on our clients' recovery journeys! As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll conduct client assessments, deliver personalised treatment sessions, lead group exercise classes, and provide specialised aquatic physiotherapy. You’ll also guide clients toward ongoing therapy programs, ensuring they receive the support they need for optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provision of high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions based on sound clinical reasoning following comprehensive assessment.
  • Provision of aquatic physiotherapy sessions.
  • Provision of individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Completion of all relevant documentation relevant to clinical care, transfers and discharge of clients adhering to set timeframes.
  • Attendance and participation at case conferences.

 

About you..

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential Criteria: 

  • Registration with AHPRA.
  • Clinical experience in orthopaedic and neurological physiotherapy including aquatic physiotherapy (and a competent swimmer).
  • Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork, ideally working alongside an Exercise Physiologist.
  • Demonstrated evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated excellent time management and self-organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Experience working in a private Day Rehabilitation Program.
  • Experience running PD Warrior exercise groups.
  • Experience with supervision of students.
