Foundation

The Royal Rehab Foundation supports the Royal Rehab Group’s work as a not-for-profit organisation with a charitable status that has been in existence for over a century.

Philanthropy is the cornerstone of Royal Rehab’s philosophy and the tenets of generosity continue today.

Royal Rehab’s founder Susan Schardt reached out to support people with a disability who were otherwise shunned by society and today the Foundation helps to ensure this important work continues, driven by Royal Rehab’s vision to create a world without limits for people with disability, illness, and injury.

The Foundation provides funding for a wide range of programs, initiatives, and services, often ‘stepping in’ with critical funding to support recovery, rehabilitation, to build independence and provide a greater quality of life for patients and residents.

Contributions from our incredible supporters empower us to:

Support rehabilitation through the purchase of much-needed equipment that can’t be funded elsewhere or doesn’t qualify for government support.

Assist with therapy costs in situations of financial disadvantage.

Support our disability services—by providing grants for individual clients or homes who are in need of additional support.

Enhance the lives of those within our care through the provision of enriching experiences.

Support can be made in a variety of ways:
