This role is based at St Albans our Melbourne hub and part of a growing multidisciplinary team service.

 

About the role..  

We are expanding and an opportunity exists for a motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our LifeWorks service at our St Albans, Melbourne location to provide support to our talented and dedicated multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. This role can be permanent part-time, full-time or casual dependent on the preferred candidate’s availability and preference.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting Community therapy clients goal achievement by implementing planned therapy interventions
Supporting clinicians of varied disciplines with their clients
Development of clinical resources and client tools
Supporting clinic operations with client movement, group programs, management of therapy spaces

 

About you..  

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual to be a key member of the LifeWorks team providing high quality support to a multi-disciplinary team within a client-focused and goal-centered framework.

Essential Criteria: 

Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
Experience working with people with physical, psychosocial and neurological disabilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Strong commitment and professionalism to customer centred care
Experience building long lasting patient relationships
Highly motivated and a positive attitude
