About the role..Â
We are growing our team and looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our LifeWorks service based in Northwest Melbourne.
This role is part of a multidisciplinary team that supports people to achieve social and economic participation in their community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with a range of stakeholders within a therapeutic support framework.
- Tailoring services that are individualised & strength based.
- Develop, implement and review therapy needs, intervention plans and strategies with clients, family, carers, and their service providers.
- Conduct and complete reports as required
About you..Â
You are a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a positive impact in the community.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Experienced working with a variety of disabilities, including those that require complex supports.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the development and implementation of occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment
As our Occupational Therapist, your role is key to delivering the very best therapy services.
Essential Criteria:Â
- Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
- Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
- Drivers License
