About the role..

Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse ready to make a meaningful impact? Join our dedicated Brain Injury Unit and play a key role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide holistic, person-centred care tailored to each patient’s individual goals and needs. Working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll help empower patients to regain independence and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing holistic patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Promoting the development of therapeutic relationships with the aim of facilitating the patient’s rehabilitation goals.
  • Supporting the objectives and philosophy of the Nursing Service.
  • Contributing to the person’s rehabilitation goals in accordance with Royal Rehabs vision, purpose and values.

 

About you..

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential Criteria: 

  • Suitable qualifications for the level of applicant - Professional registration with AHPRA.
  • Suitable knowledge & experience in rehabilitation, disability and neurological nursing.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication using information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
