About the role..
Exciting opportunity for a passionate Senior Dietitian/Professional Leader to join our friendly team at Ryde. This position aims to represent Dietetics within Royal Rehab and provide a high standard of clinical practice across the dietetics discipline to the clients of Royal Rehab, Ryde.

Key responsibilities include:

Provision of specialist dietetic and nutrition care to clients across Royal Rehab Ryde. This includes clients in the Spinal Injury Unit, Brain Injury Unit and Royal Rehab Private Hospital or any other business unit that requires dietetic cover to meet operational needs.
Ensuring high quality, timely dietetic services to clients in line with evidence-based principles.
Providing strong clinical supervision and support to a team of dietitians and students.
Fostering a culture of practice development, evidence-based practice, research, and professional development.
Monitoring the service resources and working with the Clinical Operations Managers to address resource gaps.
Providing professional leadership for the dietetics and food services interface.
Acting as the resource for food services with a commitment to undertake quality projects and audits to compile evidence for accreditation standards.

 
About you..
We seek a self-motivated and skilled dietitian with:

Essential Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics with active Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status.
Extensive clinical experience (> 5years) working as a dietitian with people with complex disability across a variety of settings.
Advanced clinical and food services skills with a solid knowledge of nutrition standards.
Advanced ability to translate therapeutic diet specifications into simple menu choices tailored to clinical demographics with high level skills in CBORD menu management system.
Demonstrated active interest and participation in quality and research activities.
An interest or previous experience in leading a team of dietitians.
High level interpersonal communication, time management and organizational skills.
A commitment to personal and professional development.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
Class C Driver’s licence.
