About the Role

We’re seeking a motivatedĀ Senior Speech PathologistĀ to join our growingĀ Penrith team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead service development, mentor junior clinicians, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to clients with a range of communication and swallowing needs. Whether you're looking forĀ full-time or part-time, we’ll work with you to create the perfect role.

Key responsibilities include:Ā 

  • ProvideĀ comprehensive speech pathology servicesĀ to clients with diverse needs
  • Lead and mentor junior clinicians to foster professional development
  • Support theĀ growthĀ of our speech therapy service
  • Collaborate with aĀ multidisciplinary teamĀ to deliver holistic client outcomes
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and conduct functional assessments
  • Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to service improvements

 

About you

  • SPA-registered Speech PathologistĀ with a minimum ofĀ 5 years' experience
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working withĀ adults and/or paediatricsĀ in a disability or rehabilitation setting
  • Experience with assessment and prescription of speech generating devices (highly desirable)
  • Passion forĀ evidence-based, client-centered care
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and support junior clinicians
  • A proactive and innovative mindset – ready for what's next!
  • Valid driver’s licenseĀ (for community visits)
