Leadership team

Tony has extensive experience as a director of numerous private and public company subsidiaries as well as government and industry bodies and sporting associations. He is currently a Director of Balance Group Pty Limited and Balance Corporate Property Development Pty Limited. Tony joined the Royal Rehab Board in 2000 and has held the position of Chairman since October 2014. He is also a Member of the Board Executive, Board Nominations and Remuneration Committee, Planning and Development Committee, Royal Rehab Foundation Committee, Audit, Risk & Corporate Governance and Development Control Group.

Clara is a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and also a Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities Ltd. She is also the Global Capital Projects and Infrastrucure Leader for PwC.  Clara has provided a broad range of services including assurance and tax services and for the last 20 years has specialised in transactions advice having worked in Australia and overseas.  Clara holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Western Sydney, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, member of the Board. Director since 30 November 2021.

Paul sits on several boards as a Chair, non-executive director and Committee Member, including defence business TWPG, industry peak body Australian Property Institute, and leading engineering firm Lucid Consulting Australia. He also runs his own specialist chartered accounting and strategic advisory practice and was previously the Sydney Office Chair and National Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Australia where he spent over three decades in the restructuring and corporate advisory space. A keen yachtsman, Paul is Past Commodore of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia and is a member of the Finance and Risk Committee of Australian Sailing. Paul is a member of the Board and Chair of the Planning & Development Committee. Director since 30 November 2021.

Greg is a chartered accountant with extensive management consulting experience in providing independent financial, business and strategy services in the health, aged care and disability sectors in which he has specialised for the last 30 years. Member of the Board, Audit, Risk & Corporate Governance Committee and the Planning and Development Committee. Director since June 2013.

Alex is an independent non-executive director of Gospel Resource Limited. Alex joined Royal Rehab’s Board of Directors as part of the merger with Breakthru Ltd., where he served as a director for almost a decade, including 5 years as chair. Alex is also a Director of Psychological Health Pty Ltd. Member of the Board and Quality, Safeguards & Clinical Governance Committee. Director since 30 November 2021.

George is the Principal of George Panos Consulting, bringing more than three decades of diverse industry experience. His recent work has focused on the architecture and design sector, as well as the disability and health not-for-profit space.

George has held senior leadership roles across a range of prominent organisations, including PwC, CSR, GUD Group, Hassell, Architectus and Boral.

He currently serves on the boards of Royal Rehab Group, The Ballet Society and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS), where he is Chair of the Risk, Finance and Audit Committee. George joined the Royal Rehab Board as part of its merger with SCIA, where he previously served as a Director and Chair. He is a member of the Planning and Development Committee and has been a Director since October 2025.

Matthew is a healthcare executive leading growth through strategy and direction, designing and building a strong and engaging culture, developing leaders and increasing performance. He re-engineers core processes around customer needs to optimise performance and uses technology and organisation design to improve service delivery, service quality and staff engagement.

Matthew has held senior management and executive roles in public, private and military sectors over two decades.

Matthew is also a Captain in the Australian Army with operational deployments in command positions in Afghanistan and Timor.

Glen has over 20 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, most recently working in the healthcare and aged care sectors. He has held senior finance positions with listed and private businesses across a variety of industries in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Phil joined Royal Rehab in 2021 with over 20-years people and culture leadership experience gained in large multinational organisations. Phil’s experience includes implementing strategically aligned human resources & communications functions, building high engagement & performance cultures, leading strategy development and execution, as well as people aspects of M&A projects and business integrations. Phil brings a highly constructive leadership style and a passion for mentoring next generation leaders, ensuring succession, and building sustainable businesses.

Brigid is a highly accomplished executive with extensive senior leadership experience across complex health and human services organisations. With a career spanning almost two decades in clinical and corporate governance, Brigid has built a reputation for driving system-wide transformation—embedding robust governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk maturity into organisational culture.

With postgraduate qualifications in Health Service Management (Safety and Quality), along with degrees in Health Science and Psychological Science, Brigid combines deep technical expertise with a strong focus on culture, leadership, and system integration.
