Steven Faux AM

Professor Steven Faux AM specialises in pain management and general rehabilitation. He is the inaugural Director of the Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and the current Director of the Department of Pain Medicine. He is a conjoint academic at the University of NSW and the University of Notre Dame. He is a foundation member of the National Facility for Human Robot Interaction Research at University of NSW. He is the President of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand, and the Clinical Lead for the Rehabilitation Community of Practice for COVID-19 for the NSW Ministry of Health. Dr Faux is Chair of the Quality, Safeguards & Clinical Governance Committee, and member of the Board. Director since 2020.
