About the role
We are seeking a Psychologist to join our team in Cairns, delivering services both on-site at our clinic and out in the community. This role focuses on providing high-quality, person-centred support to help individuals achieve greater social and economic participation in their communities.
Key deliverables include:
- Deliver psychological services both in-clinic and within the community.
- Provide tailored, evidence-based interventions to customers with complex needs.
- Work across private, Medicare, and NDIS-funded service streams.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure holistic, inclusive service delivery.
- Support individuals with psychosocial disabilities, as well as those from diverse backgrounds including CALD, Indigenous, and mental health communities.
- Contribute to the development of personalised goals and outcome-focused support plans.
- Promote social and economic participation through capacity building and community engagement.
- Ensure services align with person-centred practice and high clinical standards.
About you
You are a passionate and energetic Psychologist who thrives on making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
You bring a warm, engaging approach to working with customers, building strong, trust-based relationships. Confident in your clinical abilities, you’re experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs and are driven by a commitment to achieving high-quality, person-centred outcomes. Your adaptability, professionalism, and genuine care allow you to deliver impactful services across diverse settings, both in the clinic and out in the community.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum post graduate tertiary qualification in psychology
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Psychologist
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong commitment and professionalism to customer centred care
- Experience building long lasting patient relationships
- Highly motivated and a positive attitude
- Drivers License
